After the museum and the collector reached an agreement, Fortius coordinated the entire logistics of a major artwork loan for an exhibition in Belgium.
Following an on-site coordination visit, the team established that the work could not be taken down the stairwell. On the day of transport we moved up the double crate, made to measure by our partners, in the client’s apartment in order to finalise the packaging. The work and its crate were then put into a truck using the same crane.
Fortius also arranged for an expert to draw up a condition report before departure, and released the crate to the exhibition’s carrier after a short period of storage in our warehouse at the Luxembourg High Security Hub.
